Nika, a very successful dancer from Slovenia, talks about dancing being her destiny in life, her only desire, but she never wanted to use it just to get fame and recognition. She says she always dreamed about working and living in the USA, performing in Europe... Achieving that (through hard work, ups and downs) made her become proud of herself.
Nika then talks about expressing yourself with your body and how important it is to respect and nurture it (the body).
She says that being a professional in something, forces you to adjust your life to work (your passion). It is not easy, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication , love and passion for it, because there are always ups and downs and you have to overcome that.
She then talks about Latin-American dancing (and dances similar to that) being perceived as sexy dance, because of the more feminine clothing required, whereas hip-hop is known as a more masculine way of dancing, but, she says, with charisma and expressing 'sexy emotions' even hip hop can become a sexy dance.
Then she talks about how nowadays dancers get more recognition that they used to, but they are still not perceived as 'sportsmen', she says dancers too should be recognized as athletes for their hard physical work.
Being the face of NIKE is one of the best things that ever happened to her, she says she always adored and admired the clothing displayed on posters, the huge posters in New York and elsewhere amazed her and when she started realizing she is going to become a face on these posters, she could hardly believe it. She is very happy, not only for herself, but also because with becoming the new face of NIKE she contributed to the recognition of dance in Slovenia.

@SJT978 People say she knew how to dance before she knew how to walk :) She posted a video on her youtube channel of her dancing on a tv show when she was 3 years old, so you can know she started very very young.

Her mum and dad have a dancing school.

when she was 1 year old her mum take her to dancing clases. she was only looking and sleeping :P
