.... Here we see Ken's Hennessy set-up and his Tee-Dee Tarp ridgeline suspension, Suess's rig, 'Gingers" at play with tent stakes..... the J. Falk Compact Wood Stove again, The JerryChair, RunningFeather's Purple People Eater Tarp and his hammock, the last morning on the east ridge at the Camel humps and some out-takes.
It was a terrific trip and thanks so much for your time viewing us.
All secure in seven sector,
Shug

  • shug would you recemend the pee pod

  • @dbw16d

I really don't know that much about them ..... those that own them love them.....

  • Is that the way the Ken's overcover hangs even when in use? Seems close for nylon.

  • It breathes as it has gaps around the hammock ..... just boosts warmth and keeps the breeze off ... in theory. I am getting ready to make one so expect a video.....

  • Awesome stuff Sean! Organizing an UL winter tour for forum mates next January/ February here, maybe I need to get a cam and make a similar video =)

Great intro once again. Keep them coming!

  • It is a wonderful lazy mans trip report...... do film and post!

  • Ya got me convinced on the Hammocks Shug but theys pricey as all get out (tarps too) Im got a few idears to get me started hammock hiking but Its gonna be home made as hell. Im gonna get a double no frills hammock and gonna use an old rain fly from a busted tent for a tarp.

DONT BE PISSY WITH SHUG Suess

(or ya might hear some feuding banjos in the distance and he's got a nice smile) ; )

  • That's right Shug, and it's very light walmart ripstop. Not very tightly woven . It breathes well.

    Look forward to seeing yours!

    Ken

  • Looking forward to it. I think I may have fell into the trap of putting it into the context of down here in Florida. We are in late January before we see 30F usually.

  • Give it a go ....... Whooooo comfort!
