Flute - Song Without Words

this is me playing one of our band songs, "Song Without Words". The endings a little wierd because the flutes don't play the very end of the song.

I'm in 7th grade in this video & yea this song was really easy idk why we played it we just did. All of our other songs we're much harder. I just made a video of it for fun.

That's really choppy... The song, keep in mind, should be very fluid and graceful. I have the sheet music from when I played this in 8th grade, and there isn't anything that says to tongue it very hard. Also, the rhythm doesn't seem steady. I don't mean to put you out of playing flute or being in band, but this is just constructive commentary, Keep at it, and I hope you achieve excellence. =)

u take a breath every measure my sixth grade band must be pretty bad. Get a good band instructer not trying to be rude I play flute and yeah..

@xoxomusicluvaoxox I'm in the 7th grade also. This is a verry calming song. Glade I found it.Also don't breath after every 5 notes. Try breathing in for 4 then out for 4. Repete this two more times. Then in for 3 out for 4. Repete 2 more times. Then in for two out for 4. Repete 2 more times. Then in for 1 out for 4. Repete 2 more times.This should help you to play more notes without breathing so much. 'Kay? Don't get mad at me. Just trying to help you improve. Over all not bad.=)

Work on your breathing. Don't spike the notes. Good song, whst school did you get this song from? Can you give me the notes? Plz?

also you need to not breathe after everynote. just after every 16 beats and not at a bar line. I am i 10th grade and learned these really simple things in 6th grade. you should know better. and tone is never easy to consistently control. try doing some pitch bending exercises more often and you'll have down pat after a while.

you need to make your flute parallel to the ground-and you sound real airy because your slumped over on a bouncy bed- you need to stand up straighten your popsitioning, and blow smoth even air
