I love the space of this car, especially the backseats....how they move back and forth and decline back..amazing! Also the gear shifter is small and out of the way unlike the regular prius where it takes so much room next to your body. I hope they remove that next year and then i'd get the regular prius.

But i still have reservtions of buying a hybrid b/c of those costly batteries and generators that replace a traditional alternator

@gadgetguy4000 I have a Jetta TDI. You gotta be kidding about better build quality. I've had that thing in the shop more than the rest of my cars combined, and it has half the miles on it. And WHEN, NOT IF, you take it to a dealer, get ready to pay.
