Workcover are fucking useless. There was a complaint from workers about dust (people going to hospital having respiratory problems, asthma attacks etc).
The workcover guy came and all they did was demand all the power leads get tagged.
I agree with this bloke, why should the taxpayer be paying something the insurance be paying. Not shoving them onto Sickness benifets.
The companys they work for should pay if theres not enough revenue then bigger fines for companys should be in place Ive seen mining companys get $20,000 fine for death of a worker wheres the justice in that ay?. Something Ran could do is agree with the supper tax to help fund injured workers, But no lets destroy good familys.
I guess this is a problem all over the world. Once you`re seriously injured, and long term comes into it, the best thing you could do for the WCB, is to disappear. I`m sure people complaining because they aren`t having done what they had PAID for, is probably an embarassment for governments.
Bloody Hell! Great follow up to "Yesterday's Hero" clip. Is this TV programme always as high quality and relevant as we see here? Decent local journalism in South Australia! I might have to get a telly...
