I miss you mom...Tribute to my mom...Halfway To Heaven - Kathy Phillips

I don't know how many tissues I went through trying to put this video together but I finally did it. Today would have been my mom's 63rd birthday. I miss her terribly. My heart aches for her more and more each day. She sadly passed away on July 15, 2009 at the age of 61 from Colon Cancer. I originally recorded this track 4 years ago under the name of Melanie Flash. This version in the video is the original take before it went to final production. It has more of a raw and intimate feel to it, exactly what I wanted to match the mood in the video. I never thought that this song would have a deeper meaning for me later in life. But I believe that everything happens for a reason. Thank you for watching. xo

Kathy, Im so sorry for your loss, I know how it feels my mom passed away October 9, 2010 just 17 weeks ago "Despina" I miss her sooooo much. This is one of the hardest thing to deal with. my mother passes away july 8 2010 of colon cancer. it was kind of sudden. saw her going down hill but she kept it to herself til it was just to late. she was 63 years old. i miss her more than i have words to express. she was my best friend in the world.

hi i'am 11 and my mom is 51 everyday i hope she doesnt die because shes sick and i love her so much and she going to be a grandma and its so sad because i started to cry when i read your story and i dont want to fell so  much pain because this kid tried to kill herself because her mother was sick and almost passed away and now this tears wont wash away i cant write anymore because tears are felling my face and i just want her to live in till shes 100 ! sorry for your lost :'(
