We were out to eat a few months ago and some guy eating by us was obviously from out of town. He wanted to know why everybody was calling him a jagoff and what it meant. His wife said that he was a horrible driver and she didn't think it was a complement.

After spending 6 years in Pittsburgh and never being able to tell the difference between collar, color, and caller in local speech, I moved to Boston where khaki, car key, and cocky all sound the same. You can't win!

You aint got an idea of how bad we sound till your outta town for a while and come back. Just small things like sayin an dat or gumband... Say Yinz once anywhere and people know your from Pittsburgh. And not all Shadyside chicks are fat, allot of em are filthy rich though.
