  • Not to be picky, but I think it's pronounced Lowgos, great review though, exactly what I was looking for!

  • @hacdan Why do people say "not to be picky" right before being picky. And if it based on the Greek term for word then I pronounced it as a fiest century Greek speaker would pronounce it. Of course the folks a Logos are allowed to use whatever pronunciation the like. I'm using traditional koine Greek.

  • Do you prefer this or OliveTree's BibleReader, which you also reviewed?

  • @MichaelBlue72 Since the basic programs are free there is no reason not to get both. I think they each have a their strengths. OT is more mature, but Logos has more content available and the passage guide and word study guide make it easy to use. Also the powerful way you can create a bible reading plan on the desktop version and sync is great. OT has some nice new features in version 5. its a tossup and I use both almost every day.

  • @becauseHeisgood I've been to a few of their presentations, only ever heard their local reps use Lowgos, but I'm sure they could be incorrectly trained.

  • @hacdan Actually, the folks at Logos have said that it's pronounced Lah-gahs.

  • @kpurcell Because I wasn't sure of myself in regards to the pronunciation. Thank-you for the confirmation and I now understand. Again, great review!

  • @kpurcell Thanks!

  • Good vid! We are considering an iPad, our VERY 1ST APPLE COMPUTER EVER - in our 35 years of computing dating back to the Radio Shack Model I has never included an Apple...!

We appreciate this video, it helps us decide. I was especially interesting in seeing the response speed while in Logos and it seems reasonable.

(Are you in Canada? You sound like Robb Wells, not an actor with the highest character on earth, but I still could not help hear him in your speech.)
