Sex offenders don't make a neighborhood unsafe. I think the app is trying to show actual crime. Really, if you're a 30 something yr old adult you and your family are more in danger from a drug dealer than a sex offender.

@ddaroch i think it has something to do with radio signals reflecting and the phone receiving them, but it is pretty phenominal.

how can the phone detect metal? that surprised me. could be useful, in the beach if you loose something nearby or if you want to do a hole in your wall
