Adding a Profile Picture- YouTube Help Center

A few people have reported having trouble with the feature again... someone suggested to me that he got the feature to work by first choosing the default 'Gray Man' icon, then trying to upload your picture.

I only have a camcorder. Is there a way to creating a still photo from the said camcorder?

@ChrisCa1601 Mine has the option to take still photos, so it's possible. Could also just upload a short video and use the option to create your picture from the thumbnail of that video.

@Aerodil sign in to your channel, go to setting under your username, when it takes you to that page were you see the gray head as you picture under that it should say change... hopfully you can take it form there
