I'm sick of Dove being made out to be the Messiah in this topic. Their images are retouched, just like everyone else's. They just use different sizes of women - for PROFIT. They are making themselves out to be the "good guys" so women BUY their products. And for the record, Jessica Simpson had makeup on in that cover. I'm a makeup artist. Trust me, she did. And I'm not saying that's a crime. I'm just saying it amazes me how women can't tell just plain old makeup. Do we need to label that, too?

stop blaming advertisers. its the parents job to explain to children the evils and good thing in the world.

So labeling photos is somehow going to make young girls, and boys not want to look perfect? BS. I've got a news flash for you, if your self esteem is so low that retouched photos make you feel ugly then a label isn't going to help you.

@DestinyAnn1 GOOD*
retouching is not to blame for these unattainable images of beauty, it is our society's demand for such images that is truly at fault.
