Also, a gaming magazine called "Play" did a cover story on Afro Samurai, which included an interview with the developer. Among other things, the interview covered the soundtrack, in which the individuals mentioned before were credited.

Incorrect.
The soundtrack was inspired by the RZA. It was composed mainly by two people: Howard Drossin and Danny Fouche. A group called Bridgeside Productions provided lyrics.
