    HE'S A GREAT BIG GOD!

  • I go to the northfield church and we sing this all the time :)

  • I love this song. It's nice and simple and it simply talks about our Great Big God and how much He loves us.

  • @madandlu Joel is a legend :) whats your brothers name i probably know him :L

  • @moylom -- our rebellion against God brought the consequences with it.-- Whose rebellion ? Adam`s. What do we have to do with Adam`s sin. This " original sin " business is th most grotesque injustice. What judge will punish the descendants of the criminal ??

  • @lizazoon not justification but the enabling of a greater good, that evil, while rampant is a defeated foe. E.g. victory for the allies in Europe in the 2nd world war was assured at D-Day but it was nearly a year later until it was accomplished on VE Day. Perhaps we should wish that God did not give us free choice and allowed us to live with the consequences, maybe we should be automatons? There can be little Satan loves more than to see God getting blamed for his work...

  • @lizazoon Christians believe in "the fall", that God created the world and all was good but our rebellion against God brought the consequences with it. The Nicene Creed tells us that God is in control - because of what Christ achieved on the cross. There is much evil in this world which God allows (and perhaps much that He does not). Why God allows this to persist is a hard question, but rather than being aloof from our suffering, in the person and work of Christ he is right there with us.
