Classic Sesame Street: Susan and Oscar Count Birthday Candles

From Episode 54: In this "street scene" (which aired before the Song of Ten film), Oscar has just finished baking and decorating a cake for a grouch friend's tenth birthday. He explains the differences between normal and grouch birthday parties; then Susan suggests that they check the number of candles on the cake. (For those of you who have never seen older Sesame Street episodes on cable or DVD, Oscar was indeed orange back in Season One; the writers explained his turning green as the result of becoming sick in a swamp.)

@me7096: Hmmmm, it sounds very similar to the film I was thinking of (except for the kind of cookies the girl was helping to make). I probably don't have any episodes with that one in it, since my collection focuses mostly on the 1970s and 1980s. Sorry to confuse and disappoint you!

@me7096: That film was part of an "Elmo's World" episode about helping others; I generally don't collect any episodes with "Elmo's World" in them, though you might want to ask some users who watch the more recent seasons. Thanks for the hint, though...
