Yes. They tweaked the 3d engine performance quite a bit since release.

@shadowfaxx1 I've played both of them and I find all these game extremely good! AoC has better graphics, combat system and music, it is very atmospheric; but it may be quite hard for players who aren't good in PvP.

I play LOTRO. Wow, Im impressed with the graphics of this game.  Is it still a popular game?

Do you have to grind for everything for months on end like Lotro? Would love to hear from ppl who have played both.

Define max performance :P I would consider 200 avg frames in WoW as max performance. If it's under 60, ehm, no not max, acceptable, but not max :P I'm on an i7 at 3.66OC, with 2 GTX 280s in SLI. WoW runs constantly at 250fps, but, ofc, I have to put on V-sync to limit the tearing. AoC-wise, I haven't tried.. I'm not so keen on the gameplay, but I might re-install it, for the sake of it

the min that u must have - to play at a decent 20 fps rate...: 1.5 gb DDRAM, a procesor that is at 3ghz , and a video card taht has +256 mb, and suports shader 2... that is more than a average compter since for example with my pc i barelly run AoC on low setings and still can run WoW on high at max performance or warhamer at high and alomst max performance..
