  • @clivedxb Your Mum must know Addlestone very well then? Yeah I used to cycle past The Holly Tree very often when I was a kid. It's a very old pub. Been there since the 1800s or earlier! I used to live in New Haw Road. Shame they demolished The Dukes Head though! That was very old too - built in 1815.

  • Yes Cox's Lock mill is in the video. Near the end.

  • This is great. I love the Francis Frith photos. Im very interested in the shots of Station Road as I live down Corrie Road just up from the Old Fire Station....and Im convinced there must be some shots somewhere in existence of our flat which is part of what once must have been a detached house.
