too bad if it was built bigger and used in a craft for humans it would probably create too much G forces just from the take off wouldn't it? thats why we have planes and helicopters that take off slowly
i mean the sudden acceleration straight up against gravity seems too harsh if proportion to something that can support launch us
but w/e i could be waaaayyyyy off

This would be a great system to get things airborne for a glider as long as it had a way to stabilize itself once in air.
