Waterspout in Paphos, Cyprus

I don't know anything about waterspouts, tornados etc but it struck me that it's the downpour in the huge shower to the left that is causing the air to be sucked up via the waterspout to replace the air that is being driven down by the shower.
There was lots of thunder and lightening for a week. The weather was very unstable. As you can see, those are very weird-looking clouds.
