This ad was from when the Milford Plaza in New York went national in its marketing as evidenced by the 1-800 number. This is from 1980 but was aired around 1990 or 1991; I don't have many details on when my video tape was handled.
The hotel closed down not too long ago and it is very doubtful that it will end up reopening. Which is a shame because from this ad I expected that I would be treated with class and that the whole place would be like one show stopping number. Then again, for $49 a night for all that I am not so sure that would be the case.
It was from 1980 exactly. Not the 1990's.

@fanblow That definitely makes it something that went on for a while! Thanks for helping me out a little more.

Amadeus, A Chorus Line, and Dreamgirls are featured in this commercial. It's from the early-to-mid 1980s, not the '90s.

@petey8887 Not aware of that, must have been an ad that ran for so long that it spilled over into a new decade. Kinda like the Discount Tire and Tootsie Pop ads.
