Video posted on the Internet purports to show supporters of Iranian opposition leader Mirhossein Mousavi protesting in Tehran during an annual anti-Israel rally.
Witnesses said clashes erupted between the police and Mousavi's supporters during the protests, leading to at least 10 arrests.
The event took place during the annual anti-Israel "Qods (Jerusalem) Day" rally in Tehran.
Iranian authorities including Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had warned the opposition -- who dispute the result of the June election which returned Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to power -- against turning anti-Israel rallies into street protests against the clerical establishment.
