** No Spoilers ** Going to see Inception for the first time... the only spoiler that I know of is the prequel comic book that I read the other day that was posted online. Christopher Nolan has really out done himself this time. What a fantastic movie! Probably the best I've seen Leonardo Dicaprio in a long time.

  • i understand the movie 100% and i only saw it once. so what does that mean, i'm lying? or i'm really stupid and don't even know just how "deep" this movie is? please. you are a sucker if you see a movie multiple times just "to get it". this movie was entertaining at best. it's not some rosetta stone for deciding who's smart enough and who's too dumb. if you were really smart, you wouldn't see shitty hollywood movies but rather read books.

  • @rodge2001 We got the movie, asswipe, just want to rewatch it and catch things again... I remember seeing Sixth Sense again, Unbreakable again, Contact again... many films upon watching you catch things you missed or that clarify or can even make watching the film more enjoyable seeing the workings of the layers. So because you and I saw the same movie instead of reading a book you're smarter than me?

  • OMG OMG OMG I LOVE INCEPTION, I LOvE it, I AM GUSHING OVER IT, OMG OMG OMG, when you hear people going like this over a movie, you know it is overrated.

CHIRSTOPHER NOLAN IS TRICKING YOU ALL, MEDIOCRE CONSUMERIST SHEEPS.

  • @revozuela He didn't trick me. I enjoyed the movie. I'll agree it's over-hyped... but that's easy to do in a summer of mostly shitty releases. But hype doesn't affect the movie.. this isn't like Star Wars Episode 1 where there was so much hype and I wanted to scream with rage after I saw it finally. Nothing can truly live up to the hype... but the film is itself to be judged on it's own.. and Inception... I liked. A lot.

  • @rodge2001 there is no book for this, and thats because this movies awesomeness can't be described in words.

  • @GavinMichaelBooth excellent points. i just hope that a studio wouldn't purposely put holes in their plot and make a movie dificult to understand only to get people to see it multiple times in the theater. and that's my point and the question i'm asking: is Inception truly layered and a story with substance that needs to be slowly understood to appreciate fully? or does it only appear that way and does so on purpose when even the studio and chris nolan know it just to milk the box office?

  • @rodge2001 Actually I would bet my left nut that movie studios everywhere want to make every movie be a movie that you pay more than once to go and see.. but it still comes down to consumer choice. Bad movies get seen over and over again like Twilight by fans. So you think the studios are subliminally trying to sell repeat viewings based on the material?

  • @ckhatton you cannot compare the two. i'm talking about paying for a ticket everytime you see this movie. of course when it is out on dvd, you can watch it over and over for 20 bucks. and a book you can read over and over for one price. i'm talking about movie studios making pseudo-intellectual films in order to intice movie goers into seeing a movie multiple times. if you don't get that, then fine. you trust and like movie studios. great!

  • @ckhatton yes, i'm sure the studio would prefer people to pay to see their movie multiple times. i know that. that's my point. that's exactly what i said in my comment. logically, gavin's last sentence doesn't make sense. that's really not important anyway. and i don't really give a fuck if i started a "flame war" or whatever internet dorks call an argument.

  • @rodge2001

Isn't that the idea, you hope your movie sales well... otherwise the film would be crap. Gavin's last sentence did make sense, you seem such a wise ass. I'm sensing a flame war starting here.

  • @rodge2001

I'm watching it again! And why not, some people re-read a book they've read before, not because they didn't understand it the first time round.

  • Enjoying your vids.

I was spaced out when I left the cinema, in a good way! That film really enwraps your mind around it.

  • @GavinMichaelBooth i was talking about Hollywood putting out some pseudo intellectual movie just to get saps to keep paying for ticket after ticket until they get it. i wasn't talking about people that own pirated films. i wasn't talking about seeing a movie multiple times because you are fond of it. and i'm not even going to respond to your last sentence because it makes about as much sense as Inception and proves that you are too stupid to realize it. and i was never talking to you anyway.
