2012-01-06 Whitesheet paragliding strong wind landing!

First day flying for 2012! Little used site called Whitesheet. Pleasant enough grassy hill, a bit rough in strong winds but with plenty of 'get out of jail' escape routes. :)

Nice video. Do you guys ever use speedbar or pull big ears in those situations?

@Joff62 Too low for me to be comfortable with speedbar use in bumpy air, Tycoon is a 2/3 glider also. Much prefer to retain maximum control, early decision making and pick a suitable landing spot. Always wonder why some pilots INSIST on trying to land back on TAKEOFF when the conditions change. Takeoff is where you want to go up and landing is where you want to go down!
