  • I'm sorry, correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the title be "Hoshikuzu" i.e. "Stardust"? :) :)

  • @JMetalist sorry typo error. .i thought i've written Hoshikuzu here. thank you

  • thanks for uploading those videos!!!

I really love watching kalafina/ FictionJunction's live because of their strong emotion while singing...

I keep waiting on your updates :) thanks

  • @KiraPeko woaah! ur welcome i'll still upload if some are available

  • @hwahaha123 WHAT??? of course she doesn't lip sync.that is the last thing they would do. I hope you know how to distinguish lip synching FictionJunction/Kalafina isn't ur typical western cheap artist.

  • I don't think that she is lip-syncing, because when keiko blended her voice to wakana's it didn't sound funny and different at all, it sounded perfectly. but if keiko blended her voice to the original recorded part of wakana singing 'iliya', it may sound funny and won't blend to keiko's, because keiko is doing live and using a microphone which may sound obviously different when added or mixed to recorded voice. that's from my point if view.

  • @hwahaha123 Again,I never said there was no recording in the live,I said that she isn't pretending to sing, she's really singing that part (call me delusional if you want but I can hear her voice live,it has less reverb than the recording) and the recording is added to her live singing

  • @totoumisback For me, Wakana just lip-syncing in the chorus on "iliya iliya" part. The rest of the "live" is "live".Pretends to sing while the sounds come from recording is lip-syncing. For me, she's still lip-syncing. I rest my case. And not all lip-sync has no live at all. Some singer just lip-syncing some part and do the rest of the performance live. see the credit, there's a manipulator named Oohira Yoshio in the live? That's what his job. To manipulate sounds, and insert recording in live.

  • @hwahaha123 No I didn't,or maybe didn't make myself clear, the difference with lip-syncing is that what I described has live performance + recording, the 2 are mixed together (Wakana is still singing that backround chant, the recording is added to her live voice),lip-sync has no live performance at all.

  • @totoumisback You just described what lip-syncing is. Anyway, I know that FJ is a great group. I love Wakana as well. But it doesn't mean that because they are GREAT, they NEVER lip-syncing in their performance. Open all your mind. That's why too much being a fangirl or fanboy will never do any good. You won't accept something that's the truth from your idol. Especially the bad one. I rest my case.

  • @hwahaha123 Another exemple of this would Kioku no Mori,in it both main vocalist Yuuka and backups yuriko kaida and masai hikaru sing live but you can sometimes here extra backround voices in addition to their live voices.

  • @hwahaha123 it's not so much lipsyncing but rather that they're singing live and there's recorded chants to help them out, backround chants always sound better if they're coming from a bunch of voice (like a choir),in the studio you can just record the singer multiple times to create that impression, live you either hire extra backround singers or just use a recording of backround voices and the singer sings along to them.

  • @LovingKeikoKubota You really are my friend, Kizu :D I'm ransho hahahaha. That's exactly my reason for saying that Wakana is lip-syncing in this performance. And she does really lip-syncing in Houseki. Look at the second chorus, there's a moment where Wakana is late to take her mic but her voice was still there.Even Kajiura lip-syncing in synchronicity. Now that I think it again, maybe only Keiko and Yuriko that doing live performance really 'live' in every chorus.

  • @LovingKeikoKubota That's what I thought too the first time I watched it. But after rewatching for countless times, you can see that she was really "throwing" out her voice. It's just that since she held the mic further away, it sounds "soft" and resembles an audio recording.

  • @hwahaha123 I agree : I also get the feeling that Wakana is lip-syncing the iliya iliya. It's quite apparent since it sounds exactly the same as the "iliya iliya" from the introduction overture.
