All I can say is wow! The first song that was playing during introduction really grabbed me and just took me for an ride! I tell ya' tha sax was magical. "Adam n Eve n Eve" well what can I say? It just blew me away! Yes' I also was grabbing the DVD remote and kept rewinding trying to find who sing this song! Everything about that song was so smooth and suave while at the same time sincere! It has now become one of my favorites!

Haha!!! I did the same thing in exactly the same way. Was watching "She Hate Me" and heard one the coolest grooves that I heard in a long time. It took forever to find the Soundtrack to just have this song, but it is a wonderful CD and now I'm a huge fan or Raul as well. That's crazy.

Raul Midon is a true hidden gem: he has such a distinctive sound! Have you heard his work on Louie Vega's "Elements of Life" or his rendition of Stevie Wonder's "I just Called to Say 'I Love You' " on Herbie Hancock's "Possibilities"? Magical....just magical!

The music in all of Spike's films is top notch. Even if the films are subpar, the score and soundtrack selections often elevate them.
You can get this soundtrack on Amazon. BTW, did I mention this is a great song? Better than Midon's "State of Mind!"

Terence Blanchard did the arrangement. My home boy from New Orleans. People in the movie biz are still sleeping on him. He's done most of Spike Lee's movies and is a great composer. Check out Jazz on Film.

I've been looking for this song for a long time.
I remember watching -she hate me- a few years ago and was feeling smug b/c I had just added another great Spike Lee joint to my collection. Then I was picking up the living room as the credits rolled and just had to stop. I knew the sound had to be terrance blanchard but I had no idea who the singer was. I found myself blowing up the credits on zoom and watching the song title to appear. I rewinded the dvd a few times to the beginning of the credits , too. I have been a fan ever since.
