  • They should have held his funeral somewhere, ANYWHERE, in Europe where it wouldn't have been laden with the endless, heartless tack that Americans add to everything. People would have turned up because they wanted to show thanks for a lifetime of music that no doubt altered and improved their own lives, and not because it seemed like a good excuse to wear a devil costume and limited edition t-shirts were available they could sell later on ebay. RIP Ronnie.

  • @pjkw47 You're right. This is the best way to disrespect a legend, selling t-shirts, wearing costumes, etc ...

They should have held his funeral somewhere in Europe, where people could show their respect to the god of metal. R.I.P Dio

  • @pjkw47 They were selling the shirts and other merchandise for the Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. And don't act like wackos wouldn't show up in devil costumes in Europe either. And he was American. Wouldn't make much sense to hold his funeral in Europe.

  • Dio died same day when was my brithday ;(, i heared that just before we start the party and i hope then, it just a joke, Rock In Peace.

  • Rock 'n Rest in peace

  • @pjkw47 i was there, and I'm an American. I only went there purely in respect for Dio and the impact he's had on my life. R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio.

  • Why is everyone judging the whole country based on the beliefs of the WBC? Without America, Dio wouldn't even exist.

  • @appsoda no fans know any of the rock stars they "worship"

people are idiots & think its a personal thing....."OOH THIS SONG GOT ME THRU THIS..." blah blah...people are fuckin retarded when it comes to this shit.....and then you get those idiots who are like....OH DIO FOREVER...METAL...OOOOOH......shut the fuck uuuuuuuuuuuuup!!! LOL

  • What's with the America bashing, because we know how to have a good time? Ronnie was born here, lived here, died here, you want a hero you get your own. I had the honor of meeting Ronnie and spending several hours with him back in the 90's when my best friend toured with him as Vinnie's drum tech (with Motorhead) and they played here in San Diego. He was a gracious, happy soul who I know would have no problem with the goofball in the devil mask. Lighten up.

  • whats wrong with you americans???????

  • @pjkw47 Get off it. The t-shirts were for the STAND UP AND SHOUT Cancer fund. 100% of the profits went to the charity founded in Ronnie's honor. Condemning that charity is even lower than your assessment of the "heartless tack" we Americans "add to everything." Nor was this even Ronnie's funeral - it was a memorial. Huge difference. The funeral was the day before.
