WARNING: this can be hard to watch—a newborn fawn creates a dangerous situation when mom gets protective. Starts cute, ends scary.
The dog, Star, got away limping after 23 seconds (I filmed the dog's owner, whom I could hear but not see with my eye on the camera... that's why I ended up cutting)—since posting here we have been able to contact the lady. HER DOG WAS HURT BUT RECOVERED.
River, my deer-whispering cat, is fine.

If that had been my dog i would have tackled that fucking deer and slit his throat with my bare hands... To bad the deer didnt stomp the filmer. I hope you atleast got a beating, because you deserve it.

one person replied to my comment saying he should have shot the deer assuming tht the guy has a rifle with him at all times... thrs 2 problems w/ tht. 1 what if he didnt have a rifle and 2 even if he did i dnt think he couldve shot it anyways cause i think its illegal to discharge fire arms in the city

Man that dog got pummeled. Hopefully this video will teach people not to let there pets roam free on a residential street when there are deer around.
