  • @ctthenerd Quickly grabbing general intake numbers from reputable sources.

    The 1g head flows around 230 in, 245 with mild port. The oem 7/8/9 head flows around 280 in, 300 w/ valves, and Cosworth has a worked 7/8/9 head flowing 335 in.

    A Dart B18 head flows 320 in.

    The OEM K head varies, but all flow around 285-295, any K head w/ valves flows around 305-315.

    A mild PP K can flow around 330. Using extreme examples (like using a Cosworth head) show the K flowing up to 365 intake.

  • @bernyyymac HAHA, That looks sexy man, and yea it works good with a good tune, and if you keep your boost in check on some cars.. But i'm talking about the people who said throw a turbo on it with no tuning, no boost controllers nothing, just throw boost on there k series high compression motor, and race it, i know from experience K series will shred apart from some friends i had do the same thing to there K24's with the i-Vtec K20 Heads, which that combo also increase compression.. Boom!!

    11:7 compression with 0.9 bar boost F20c from New Zealand -  /watch?v=VcRQ5MWn_4E . It's all about the tune..

  • Here we go with the dumb people talking about boosting a high compression K-Series Engine. Yea run it at half the boost on a high compression motor, and pull power because if you tried boosting the same amount of boost as half these people are you'd blow your internals threw the hood of your car, so 400+ HP is all you'll see with a high compression turbo setup, and that is if you don't float your valves, and trash your head.. 4g63 has over a decade of race history for a reason, so quit hating..
