@theskystretchesblue I agree. & "livestrong" : if we were to stretch out the sounds, it would be more like 'Ghee-ah-na, (said with an initial hard "g", not a soft "jh") and then practice merging those sounds together more quickly and naturally: "gyahna," & you'll be much closer to the correct pronunciation. In actuality the mouth barely begins the sound of "gh," before it merges into the first ñ in "mañana". But "gyahna" is respectable. Blessings on your teaching!
she does take the long way around in her explanation, but she is correct about it being an inward practice. yes that pronunciation threw me, but if you are a practitioner of any yoga, you come to know better than to tune someone out just because they don't pronounce a word according to the dictates of your attached self.
