Daniel Fogel has been President of the University of Vermont since July 1, 2002. Before coming to the University of Vermont, Fogel was executive vice chancellor and provost at Louisiana State University, where he spent twenty-six years.

The Gund Institute is a transdisciplinary research, teaching, and service organization focused on developing integrative solutions to society's most pressing problems.
