  • well people seem to think that they need to do drastic things to catch the eye of the agent. Many agents don't even read the query's that were sent to them. There agency get's thousands of them. it would be an impossibility to read every one. people tend to resort to drawing dinosaurs in the corner of the page just to catch said agents eye

  • These are examples of things that even e person with not a hint of experience wouldn't do. Drawing dinosaurs- WFT? You gotta be a retard not a writer to do that. LOL to this video. 0_o

  • I fully agree. EVERYTHING they say is true. Im learning how to write screenplays. Its the same thing FOLLOW the strict format for whatever it is. Don't try to be an original or some revolutionary badass. There is FAR FAR too much competition. Be and look professional and have a good story, attempt to to make an effort.

  • It is\like american idol, if a girl shows up dressed like a slut, you know she can't sing. it's the same with writing, if you dress it up, it probably sucks.

by the way, can i have my query letter back?

  • this. is. hilarious. I don't think you meant for this video to be funny, but dear me i'm laughing my inglorious butt off XD

Thank you!!! (if ever i do consider writing a book i will send it -manuscript/query letter to you...though i'd have to see what kinds of books you're looking for haha! i'll do my research =D)

  • Lmao GECKO!!!!

  • I am seeking a literary agent. i suppose its normal to get several rejections but dang what does it take to get a yes?
