Pokémon HeartGold #s04: Trading with Faraway Places

In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, Nintendo made it very annoying to have enjoyable multiple playthroughs by banning trading between FR/LG and any game beside FR/LG until a lengthy side quest was completed post-game. Not only that, you couldn't trade Pokémon #152 and up from a FR/LG to a FR/LG game that hadn't completed said quest.

So with the new set of remakes, I was afraid the same thing would happen. In this video, we confirm something many of you likely already know: Are there restrictions on trading between HeartGold/SoulSilver and Diamond/Pearl/Platinum from the start of the game?

on my platinum i have like 999 master balls so when i trade to my soul silver (when i get it) im gonna give a master ball to the pokemon im trading so when it goes over i have a ton of master balls lol

Err...it might be easier to Emerald clone Master Balls and then mass Pal Park them, since HGSS removed the once per day limit on Pal Parking. That is, if you have Emerald. Keeps your stockpile on Platinum also...
