  • Sharon,I like you and your sister miss Bob and when I see a certain Corvette it reminds me of the guy who entertained me on WMGM,WINS,WABC,WABC FM,WNEW FM as well as WCBSFM in New York and what a talented voice over guy the pre med student turned disc jockey tha Robert Louis Swartzman was...

  • The big Bob-a- Lewis Show! is what they sang

  • BROOKLYN AND AM RADIO!!!! WMCA AND WABC!!!!

  • @DaddyBog ...and before he made it to WABC AM he was on the air on New Haven's WNHC AM radio when he used the same theme. I and my friend pestered him in the control room when he was on the air..He also actually lived in an apartment in my New Haven neighborhood where we used to see him cruising in his MG convertible coupe.

  • This is the first record I bought. I was 8 years old in 1962 in Slims on 34th Street and it was a birthday present from my mom. Slim asked me how old I was and I told him I was 8 and he laughed and said I had 8 freakles. What a memory. Next time I saw slim was over a decade later and he moved downtown. I bought a 331/3 Miss You long version single from him.

  • Thank you all, This brought tears to my eyes. Bob Lewis was my adopted father and I miss him terribly!

  • nice,thanks for the memories and the fun,Tom D. Brick,NJ. {at the shore}.

  • Learned to love this stuff from my late brother and sisters. Then years later at car shows when I had my 55 Chevy, and later my 56 Chevy Nomad! Great music

  • Isn't his girlfriend's name Hoskie Bopalena?

  • Fantastic memories . . . unlike most posting, I grew up in a hick town in Ohio, but it made no difference cause of radio. I love the do wop sound and its vibrancy.
