Dina Cohen, Infolive.tv Reporter and Sderot resident, was the first resident of the city to address the United Nations Human Rights Council on Thursday, giving them an intimate portrait of life under constant rocket fire from Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip. The Infolive.tv Reporter described how she only had 15 seconds to race to rescue her new born baby and race to safety every time she hears the warning sirens of an impending rocket attack ring across her hometown in Sderot. Dina Cohen spoke on the same day that Archbishop Desmond Tutu addressed the council and condemned Israel's 2006 shelling of the Palestinian village of Beit Hanoun, in which 19 civilians were killed. 09/21/08

  • I have a solution. Take your son and leave. So simple. Make a new life for yourself in a peaceful country. You are young. Live with love not hate.

  • @missaliamay Agreed why does she think she is more important than a Palestinian women or family.

  • Bravo

  • The historical clock always starts ticking from the firing of homemade firecrackers, just about as accurate as flying a kite bomb in a hurricane. All the events that precede it are never reported or taken into account, perpetuating the false notion that Israel is this fragile, innocent victim. I don't question the sincerity of this mother's testimony, however, the hardship of Palestinians when the IDF strikes, or just going about their daily lives are far from peaceful or easy.

  • No voices from the other sides of this conflict are presented here. We should fight censorship of all colors and stripes, censoring the views and arguments of those that disagree with our stances, and promoting those we agree with is the virtue of the vicious and fascists.

I do agree with the speaker insofar as the value of human life is supposed to be equal,

but looking at the facts, to the State of Israel sure indicates that Israeli citizens are "more equal" than that of the Palestinians.

  • The UN does not care, arab oil is more important than Jewish blood.

  • @oldjoe5 "Israel did, of course, strike first in 1967. They attacked the Egyptian air force. As far as I know, nobody disputes that."

Egypt blockaded Israel by closing the essential Straits of Tiran, which is an act of war. Egypt also expelled UN peacekeeping troops from the Sinai, in violation of a 1956 agreement. There are other Egyptian actions which also constitute acts of war, BEFORE the Israeli strike. Here are just two.

  • Israel ka deen nazdik aa chuka he,,inki ma ki chut me misael marenge..!

    You do?

  • Yusuf Don't veer, you ranted that in June 1967 Israel struck first.I posted some facts for you,but you didn't confront them or oppose them and now, like the nescient you are,you mumble idiotic remarks.

Israel never initiated any war in this part of the globe, not even one.

If you find it hard to believe, well bad for you.

    BIGOT!
