And He had new wants in life. When your a young adult you want to have fun and make money and find a career for yourself. When your settled in a career you often want a family to give your love and wealth to. Then when your children are all grown up, you want to do things again travel and see the world with your significant other. And then when you finally get really old there's a point where you just want to rest and have peace and quiet (at least for some). But he still cared for the tree.

That was good, that was really good. I cried soo bad. at the end, especially in thinking how much good parents give and care and love soo much and soo well. That was soo good and soo bittersweet. it took me to be an adult to truly understand and cry over this story. it was soo good. And to me the boy wasn't being greedy, he was being truthful. He cared about the tree but he was at a new stage in his life and as an adult you have an imagination but not as wild as a childs to play with a tree.

That means he's a human.
