Backyard Terrain Park - Quarter Pipe Sessions - BaklaB -Spring 2010

The BaklaB is our backyard terrain park in Truckee, California, home base of TahoeUnderground. It started years ago as a couple small jumps and some sweet sled runs and has since had a spine, some jibs and the fence gap from the backyard to the driveway. This year was pretty big and the main focus was the fence gap. The take off had to be moved to the street above, thus including a boardercross style run in with a small fence gap, into a med fence gap into the yard ( last years take off ) and into the main fence gap. It's amazing what you can do with a snowblower, snow shoes, many shovels and some serious elbow grease! Oh ya, and time!

So once the upper run in and landing melted, I took the jump and made it into a quarter pipe with a log as coping, 7 foot high on the backside. Straight down with the fence right behind it. The video camera made an appearance for a few sessions.

Did you have to ice it a all, and when it was damaged what tool did the sweeper use?
