Did you guys even listen to what he was saying? He was arguing on behalf of Girl Talk, saying that Mix Tapes are just as illegal but don't get any guff. He says that when radio is going downhill, mashups are a great way for new artists to be discovered. Don't just diss on things without even listening to them. I know a president who does that.

this politician is actually speaking on behalf of girl talk. i think he supports him. :]

@ewgirlsaregay he has to suport him he's a rep for PA from pittsburgh, and greg gillis (girl talk) is from pittsburgh. even though its right of him to defend greg because any normal person can see what he is doing is completely legit, Doyle is more than likely defending him for political reasons, and strictly to appeal to a voter demographic.young college voters in PA and pittsburgh specifically who enjoy what girl talk does like myself. becasue this issue was nothing compaired to the econ.

surely most of them politicians had no idea what he was talking about

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed and agreed with every word from the mouth of a politician. If Ben Franklin were alive today he would probably be in favor of this peculiar and amusing new 'Girl Talk' music and he would be good friends with Rep. Doyle here.

HAHA that was just funny hearing him say notorious B.I.G.

A three minute speech followed by him yielding back his time is a filibuster? Sorry no, he's clearly making a point that current legislation is restricting the flow of culture. And what's a country with a whole bunch of legislation and no culture? A sad, sad place.

Yeah... His point is the current regulation makes it next to impossible to let new music reach the public
mixtapes are not sold in best buy or wal-mart or circuit city what the hell is this dude talking about, old white people just dont know what the hell they talking about

He was wrong about Best Buy but he didn't mention Wal-Mart or Circuit City, and many indie stores do carry mixtapes (or at least they used to until the RIAA started raiding them).
