Tagai College students are studying marine conservation and boating safety with the Australian Marine Environment Protection Association in this highly significant body of water between mainland Australia and Papua New Guinea. The college undertakes collection of sinister ghost nets and marine debris. They also assist in monitoring seagrass, coral, dugong and turtles. They are depending on the rest of the world to mitigate global warming and help them protect their home.
