Its amazing how consistently all the Indian cooking shows on youtube miss minor details.
Madam quickly describes the method to make the batter, but forgets to mention the consistency of the batter. Should it be watery? should it be thick? She could've said a couple of words about it. Or she could've visually supplemented it by taking a spoonful of batter and dropping it back in to the vessel to describe the consistency. The camera work is miserable at best.
Have some respect. Watch what you say and comment. There are so many videos in many other languages and many of them do not have subtitles. She is gujarati doctor and she teaches how to change your lifestyle through eating habits and behaviour. She talks about how emotions and eating habits are related. She also comes on national TV. She is a pediatrician and very good doctor. I have been following her for many years and I have learned a lot. She is calm and smart.
I love here videos even though I don't speak Gujarati. She is teaching healthy Indian cooking, not the spicy oily foods others advocate as Indian cooking. But yes, English subtitles would be preferred, and also better video quality would make it better. Try to keep the camera on the food you are cooking.
This woman is silly talking abt Gussa on her video link...Gussa means getting mad...What does Dhokla have anything to do with being mad...
Woman if u r going to show your recipe on Youtube either speak in english or have subtitles in english....No measurements either...hope u take this comments constructively...Thank u
It would help a lot if you added subtitles in english, so we can all understand what she is adding. You would get a lot more views and subs that way... or maybe you could put the recipe in the description box, that would help too.
Good vid. Thanks. I am in Toronto, Canada. Like ekta0419 I too want to know where one can buy Dhokla cooker and pans in Toronto. I saw 2 Dhokla recipes in this channel. Both called for vaghar (tempering) with oil. May be like South Indian Idli one can eat it with coconut or chana chutney? You should describe how to make such chutnies. May be in collaboration with a South Indian who may know best technique for it?
can you please let me know, where you found the Dhokla Maker.. the pan? wat does it called? is it aluminum? i will be visiting Ahmedabad soon so please let me know soon.
