Actually, they count our over emotional reactions and lack of civility too. "They" always play to our basest instincts. Its easiest to pit people against "the other." Anger and fear are the easiest emotions to trigger. Its like inciting a mob -and most people jump to conclusions without checking facts...or the source of the information.The last thing they expect of a mob is civility.
