"If you're a lion, what the heck am I?"

Jecht is an all-out physical attacker, I'm pretty certain that none of his attacks are magical. In fact, he has the least amount of attacks in the game if I recall correctly. Two BRV attacks for ground and air (4) and the same for HP so altogether that's 8. Bear in mind though, guys, his BRV attacks can be manipulated by making combos with the circle and analogue buttons which, once pressed correctly, will deal some devastating damage.

Basic crackdown of Jecht:
+ The "Jecht Block" BRV attack that can be used in the air or the ground blocks ANY attack. I don't use it much but I think it even blocks HP attacks as long as you press it at the right time which is really cool.
+ The combinations that you can input, when pressed in the correct order, can be branched with a HP attack making BRV damage a very good aspect of Jecht's character.
+ Although he looks like he's pretty heavy, you'd be surprised when you find out he's actually more agile than some of the other heavy characters which is great. but definitely get him on Speed and Jump Boost abilites.

- His EXMode ability isn't really one I've tried out too many times, it's basically where even if the opponent dodges your combo or something, you can still finish it off. Doesn't really make a difference to me and they could've just made the ability something more useful, ah well. Some people could find it very useful.
- His EXBurst... Woah, don't get me started, I mean, I got two greats but that rarely happens. The fact that if you gave everyone the same equipment and perfected their EXBurst, Jecht's would deal less damage is really annoying, I find. He looks like a damn power house and yet his EXMode and EXBurst was like degraded? Fine, I guess that's okay.
- Now, there are probably several videos for doing Jecht combos but I am absolutely appalling at them, and some of you might be too, which renders the whole combo thing more or less pointless to me. That being said, some people really can pro it and if you want to, watch some of the videos (I know I will, sometime) to get the maximu potential out of Jecht.

In-depth Guide:
Jecht is a melee fighter and you must be agile to use him. Pressing dodge/block at the exact right time seeing as he has no long range ability (Ultimate Jecht shot is kind of midrange but better close up anyway) so it might take you a little while to get used to that but by all means, do it. So, seeing as he only has two attacking BRV attacks, I thought I'd treat you all to the combos which I know exist, I will list them below (also, note that you have to press the HP button seperately, it doesn't automatically do it.. At least I don't think it does) :
Ground - Jecht Rush Combo 1: Circle - Circle - Circle - Jecht Blade (Air)
Number two: Circle - Circle - Up+Circle - Ultimate Jecht Shot
Three: Circle - Up+Circle - down+circle - Triumphant Grasp
Four: Circle - Up+Circle - Circle - Jecht Blade (Air)

Air - Jecht Stream Combo 1: Circle - Circle - Circle - Jecht Blade
Combo 2: Circle - Circle - Down+Circle - Triumphant Grasp

I'm not sure where there are more or not but that's all I got, and I hope it helps to all of you. Now, you'll notice that Jecht's attacks can be charges, don't worry about charging them to full, no different attack happens, just the more you charge it, the better range and power it will be.

Jecht's HP attacks are really useful and I'm going to close up with a quick explanation on them. Jecht Blade can be used in the air or on the ground, best used when the opponent is paralysed because if you miss you'll be vulnerable for quite some time. Triumphant Grasp is an attack that is only usable in the air and it dives down towards the player and deals lots of BRV damage before pushing them away with a HP blast, more often than not this will cause Wall-HP damage and I love this move =D. Ultimate Jecht Shot takes a meteor-like thing from the ground and chucks it close to you, if you get the player close enough, you can damage them whilst jumping up, as well as when you chuck it down. If the opponent touched the Earthly ball thing, they get a flurry of BRV damage, if they simply just get caught in the blast it's simple HP damage.

Weak EX mode? You don't know how to do the combos, that's why you think the EX mode ability is weak. Lol, you obviously don't know what you are talking about. You shouldn't make such misleading videos. Flagged.

@67892267 You realise that by weak EXMode I meant the attack where he throws the great big thing at them. And in that case there is literally no denying that it's the weakest. It is. Maybe not the attacks you can do whilst in EXMode but the actual HP move exclusive to EXMode is the weakest in the game, sort your head out, Brian

XD this is why jecht pwns XD one of the best voice actors in the world too, who has been known to be asked by namco japan specifically to do the voice of paul pheonix for EVERY region of tekken 5 and 6 due to his comic relief additions to a characters personality.
