There is no need to be apologetic about suggesting improvements to an image that is already strong and/or the photog may not have had a chance to change in any way. You are exactly right, it is about getting more out of the potential of a similar situation in the future. I regret having found this series only after it had finished but I'm nevertheless fully enjoying it!
