The author's name is really Chuck Kraemer. If you do a web search for that name and "ode to christmas", you'll find articles verifying this, and his current home page (he retired from television and is now a cabinetmaker and graphic designer). You won't find any mention of "Ode to Christmas" on his current web site, but if you look it up via the Wayback Machine, you'll find an old version of his page linking to a video of the ode (n/a). FolkAlley has this in their current holiday stream.
First time I have heard this in years. You can tell the approximate vintage of this routine by some of the brands mentioned (and not mentioned) and by complete omission of any dot-com or similar references. Oh the memories...
I used to look forward to Chuck's ode every year on WCVB, going back to the 70's.
