  • Stupid music. The vulcan music is CLANNAD not this stupid classical one which was also played at Biggin Hill!

  • Yes I'm not sure if it was picked independantly by the 2 airshow's or if it was a 2009 Vulcan thing.

I'll try and find out from the VTTS guys.

I believe this one is Mars from Holst's Planet Suite? (I'm sure I'll be corrected if thats wrong). Personally I think the vulcan makes its own music from "those four pipes at the rear"....lol.

  • Cheers for the comments guys.

Always an awesome sight, shame the cam-corder could have been tweaked to make the video a bit better.

I'm sure if it was coming to bomb you it would be VERY scary.

I had the pleasure of seeing one "up close" in the early 1980's and have a picture of me and the rest of the CCF cadets in front of XL391 taken at RAF Waddington.

I'll never tire of seeing such a wonderful aircraft. In the same league as Concorde and the Spitfire IMHO!

  • Don't worry. I found the answer out anyway. :L i'm a member on the Vulcan to the sky forum "Planesandthings" so I can confirm that this was only picked independantly by 2 airshows. And yes the vulcan noise is music to my ears :L :L
