Wow! Pretty high tech for '62!

lived right by a big ranch in FL, used to go to the ranch house sometimes, was like Bonanza in the south, remembered the foreman's son had one, I thought it was so cool, that ranch is now a Mall and condos and shopping centers and restaurants, sad to see and the ranch was started by one of the Florida Founders, golden days

Ha very nice man... I've started collecting older toys and have come across some good finds at thrift stores, yard sales, ebay as well... Look out for a "newer" toy made by Tyco in 1993 called Gorzak, voice command to walk, turn right, use his axe, break his chains very fun beast of a toy!

Greatest toy ever, used to own one, very informative, but how about some enthusiasm!? Get excited man, and shoot them darts! Bang!!

What a sound!

I wish I still had mine. I wonder if anyone had the foresight to buy & save about a dozen of them and just stow them away on opened in the box. That could have been a very wise move. I wore out some batteries on this dude when I was about 6 or 7.
Awesome video thanks for memorable post!

it takes like 4 hours for the toy to simply backup lol!
begged my Dad for one, he thought it was ridiculous, too expensive, in my old Sears catalog they were $11.99.....he thought my $11 Erector set was too high....:D

LOL. If he only knew what it costs today to get one! But, $11.00 was a lot of money back in the early 60's.

hey, dezurtdude, i had one that i had to sell back in early nineties for around 400;00. i also had the game with little blue, orange, etc dino pieces. my other one, i had gotten christmas 1961. that got or rather met with an accident. what i liked about zor, were his marble like eyes.he was one of my favorite dinosaur toys. i wouldnt mind getting again,though...i am sure his price tag would be prohibitive these days. maybe one day...i will get lucky;who knows?your's looks to be in great shape.

You can still get one and the prices haven't climbed as much as you think. I know a guy who buys them and repairs them. Let me know, and I'll hook you up with him.
