@Steveway32 Glad to comment, no problem, Years ago before John Gary passed away, he was interviewed several times on KAAM radio in D/FW which plays the staples & big band sounds. Mr. Gary lived in Richardson, a suburb just north of Dallas in Dallas county. They still play Gary's songs at times & are online, type kaam radio d o t c o m all together to listen sometime.

My family originally came from Ireland-Stradbally in County Laois located in the midlands along the N80 road. I love all Irish music!

A Happy St. Paddy's Day to all, and God rest one of the true glories of the human voice, the late, great John Gary (1932 - 1998).
Sure, an' everyone's Irish on St. Paddy's Day, and remember to drink responsibly...by which, I mean use a coaster!
Never having heard this song before, I saw the link in suggestions bar -- it said "John Gary sings 'A Little Bit Of Heaven.' " And, involuntarily, I said out loud, "You bet he does!" The song did not disappoint. Thanks for it!

John Gary could sing an Irsih song better than most Irishmen---but he was mostly of Dutch ancestry--born JOHN GARY STRADER. He would love this beautiful video. He had hoped to someday do a TV Special in Ireland but never got the chance.
