  • that's cool i love what you did

  • Cool. Good to see some Yemeni food on here. I really miss those kebab things in old Sana'a, the ones with deep fried meat balls, served with tomato dip, herbs and flat bread. Does anyone know the name for the tomato and herb mixes that are served with this? Or what is in them? I can't remember what was in it and cant seem to get it to taste right.

  • Great video....I was in Yemen last year, I miss it alot :) I hope you get to visit again

  • it's really rare to me to see such a passion for anything yemeni on youtube; and by a "outsider" no less!![i'm sure that when you were there you didn't feel that way, for sure yemenis are well known for their hospitality.] ayway, it was really a nice and refreshing video, but i should point out that there are several ways of making salta; it varies from city to city. 5/5.

  • شكرا

    nice vid 5/5

    Thanks

  • It is very interesting, but u have only mentioned about 10% of thier cuisine, may be it's one of the main dishes in Snaa, if u went to the other cities u would find completely diffrent cuisines... It may not look very pretty but it tastes very nice ... may be it's similar to the Italian cuisine , it does not look great but it is very delicious

  • Eating from Yemen Very very beautiful

  • LOL

I will forget about the introduction.

You skipped some steps at 2:12 and 2:13. those seeds have to be crushed to a powder and are soacked in water for a few hours before you get to whip them into that creamy look .

Thank you for sharing this video about an important Yemeni dish. With your permission we will share it with others at BabALYemen(dot)com
