Germany was far surperior than any other country in WW2....

I know many many things about WW2 but the allies sucked in technology comparing with te axis (Italia was ruther the allies)

@Edsgex my "facts" wasn't from wikipedia... it was what they said on the history channel.

Yes, the german army was more advanced, compared to the russians.

and it's true that the result might have been different if Hitler havn't started a two front war.

But it's a fact that the russians had a much larger production capacity compared to the germans.

So my point with my previous comment was that the german tanks had a higher value compared to the russians, and each casualty would be more fatal.

You ,sir, are totally and utterly wrong. Russian Production times, the quality and the number of tanks were all inferior to the Third Reich. It is a well known fact among the ww2 historians that Third Reich excelled in all areas and was simply put, superior. It was the relentless war on both fronts that managed to undermine and eventually collapse the Third Reich and the Wehrmacht. Please check your facts from wikipedia, Russians lost 6000 tanks when Germans only a fraction of it, 700

as a matter of fact, at Kursk, the germans and the russians lost about the same number of tanks.

but it was more catastrophic for the germans, due to the production time of their assets.

@gunnota The reason the T34 was waaaay more powerful than the Panzer 4 was, it had sloped armour that deflected shots instead of making the vehicle a deathtrap like a big armoured block design (Panzer 4) plus it had a better gun, 76mm....

The german IV tank was more powerful per unit than the T34 and m4 tank

The only reason the T34 was more powerful , is because of the built numbers

40,000 T34's made in ww2

But only 8800 IV's

@gunnota the russians had better tanks at the start of the war. Later thy got the tiger tank but it were not produced in enough numbers to beat the T-34 and KV1
