  • Then you would be incorrect. If you look at the conditions of the shoot, all imaged samples taken at 1/8000th of a second, in high speed mode, 8 frames per second.

I would then call you a major fool!.

  • I thought the same(, however gravity would cause the dust inside the camera to flow downwards not up? This is from a series of images, and the dust would have been apparent on several frames not just 4 frames in a series of hundreds? Also consider the shutter speed of these samples: 1/8000th of a second. The trajectory of dust is substantially less than the shutter speed used, yet aspects of the sample are blurred?

  • It would be apparent in additional frames and is not? Consider if it is dust it becomes embedded in the CCD, not move around out the frame*

  • First why not, pointless in who's oppinion? You dont have access to the actual HD file, so your basing your assesment on what you are unable too see? If its in the air and flying without means of propulsion, then it is by definition UFO.

  • Look closer..far from birds..

  • Thank you and please note the samples are taken at 1/8000th of a second and that the lens is closed to its maximum aperture setting. The range of the ISO, from 100-800 ISO allows of an exposure of such, with detail in the surrounding area of the Sun.

I use nutral density and aluminum with a pin hole to fucus, however I'm filming infinity, so the lens is set to infinity. The exposure values are under exposed, no damage possible to CCD which is covered by NPS at NGM where I work*

  • Interesting UFO / video capture. I think you might have something there. If your going to video tape, do not aim your camera directly at the sun. Reason: (1) the sun can blind you permanently if you gaze at the sun via your camera's optic viewer. It's like a magnify glass focusing sunlight. (2) a direct sun capture without darken filters can ruin your camera's digital light sensor chip. At the very least, block out the sun utilizing a building or a structure.

  • I'm an enthusiast, but I gotta say your stuff is insects (here) and lens flares (green dots in washington shots). I think you are being intellectually dishonest, not sure what your game is but I call Shenanigans on you.

  • My thought was dust or a small piece of lint.

  • First of all why would you record a video of the sun? That's pointless. Secondly, i don't see how that can be a UFO.
