I'm not actually building a stash, I have one already. I bought several fitteds and have not really found a great use for them. Occasionally i'll let me son wear them around the house with no cover just so I can get use out of them. I guess I still don't see their purpose. I bought them to use as night diapers but I don't like that my son wakes up wet up to his belly :( i'd rather he wear a pocket diaper super stuffed so the moisture gets wicked away. How do you use fitteds?
diaperswappers is a great site to get used ones and seeing what people think about different brands. Buying used is a great way to try different diapers before you buy a bunch of them. gogonatural nickisdiapers cottonbabies all great sites for diaper shopping. It can be very overwhelming I had to just start with something and go from there. I have bumgenius and prefold with wraps.
You have so many diapers and next time around I will be doing it differently. I did not know how to cloth the right way and I only did it party time. Would like to do full time next time.
One thing that worries me about buying cloth diapers before the baby comes is not knowing which brand I will like best. I feel like by buying a few different brands I'm wasting my money too, since I'll probably end up not liking most of them. So far I've bought bum genius, fuzzibunz, and rumperooz diapers. I have 2 of each. I wanted to buy my dipes ahead of time to spread out the cost but I've since decided to just stick with these 6 and see how I like them - then buy more later.

I don't see how having 45+ diapers is saving you money. That just sounds like you are addicted to buying the diapers.
