  • @Armydicked I never liked that song Penny Lane and I've loved this song ever since I first heard it.

  • One of my favorite songs of all time, great great great. Those were the days, I was oh so young, and oh so in love, I was always in love in those days.......where did the time go, where did the love go........

  • People forget that Kenny Rodgers started off as a straight-ahead rock & roller. This mid-sixties single is EVERY BIT as good as its rival PENNY LANE (especially the piccolo trumpet in the end). I will match his I JUST CHECKED IN...Psychedelic song with any other trippy song of the period. Kenny should have tuffed it out to the 70's but he crossed over to CW and re-branded himself. He should be proud of these songs-as good as rock&roll gets up against THE BEST there was!!!

  • Your video brought me to tears. Seeing all the great photos that reminded me of things I saw every day in my childhood...things that sadly, are long gone. Say what you will, everybody, but I miss the old days. There were hard times, yes, but I'd give anything to live during that time again. So much better than now. So much more REAL--the scenes, the music, and yes, the people, too. This was one of the great songs that played in the background of my early childhood, and I cherish it. Thanks

  • This HAS got to be The BEST of his songs, even though I like them ALL. Thanks.

  • Gave my heart to Terry Williams when I was ten...there will never be another.

  • Perecera en la soledad.

  • Why is the beginning cut off???

  • Baby oh baby!!!!!!!!!!!!! awesome song!!!!!!!!! Kenny and the first edition - rocks!! Saw them live At the Alley theater in 1970 Houston, tx!!!! WOW:=):=)

  • One thing that's puzzled me for a long time was why drummer Mickey was sometimes not photographed with the group.
